So this weekend I was lucky enough to go check out a awesome spot called Lock & Key Social Drinkery + Kitchen. It’s a small little spot that doesn’t look like much from outside. I almost walked past it. But once inside they have plenty showing off who they they are. Now one of the 2 things they show off a lot over their social media, which is how I found out about this place, is their bar. The bar is beautiful and well stock. They have a wide verity of liquor and craft beers on tap. I ordered their version of a old fashion which they add grapefruit juice to. This is one of the best I’ve had. Flavor is well balanced and they don’t put a ton of ice like some places do. They instead use 1 large cube so that it doesn’t melt down and water down their drink to quickly. And if you look carefully they have the initials of the restaurant in the ice cube. One of the other items they really promote is their 40 oz dry aged tomahawk steaks. This was possibly the most tender steak I’ve had. Flavor was amazing and there wasn’t a ton of fat. Now I wouldn’t order this again mainly because of the price. But it was something I needed to try at least once. They have plenty of other items on the menu that look great and are more reasonably price so you don’t have to worry about breaking the bank every time you make a trip down. The best part is they are located near a theater so you can make a day of your visit and catch a movie. (And or nap depending on how much you eat here). All in all it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend everyone check it out. Unless you’re vegan.
