The View From The South: Fecundation

What's up everyone? Wes here again to bring you some new brutal death metal to wet your whistle. I present you the new EP from Fecundation entitled, "Morte Cerebral". For those of you who have never heard of Fecundation they are a brutal death metal band with technical riffing and razor sharp solos. Guitarist/Vocalist Chuck Jenga is a fucking bad ass! With his super technical riffage and nasty gutturals he really holds down the brutality and his solos are top notch.
My favorite track off the EP is "Xenomolphic Ruination". From the beginning of the song Fecundation pulls no punches and delivers a punishing shot to the gut and then unleashes hell. The bass slapping riff totally had me hooked right away. The grooves on this song are catchy but not sacrificing any heaviness. When we get to the solo section towards the end of the track I was totally blown away by how smooth the transition was. I feel this is some of the best song writing I've heard from these guys.
